Autocloz vs Hunter.io
A widely used email-finding and verification service with a domain search, plus a light campaign sender.
Hunter finds the address. Autocloz is where that address gets worked — verified, sequenced across five channels, and kept on a lead timeline in a free CRM. Most teams use both.

Frequently asked
Does Autocloz replace Hunter.io?
Not for finding addresses — Hunter's domain search and finder are a different job, and Autocloz does not ship an equivalent public email database. It does replace Hunter Campaigns, and it verifies addresses before sending regardless of where they came from.
What does Hunter.io genuinely do better?
Discovery. Given a domain, finding the right people and their address patterns is what it has specialised in for years, and the confidence scoring on a found address is information Autocloz does not generate.
Why does verification before send matter so much?
Because bounce rate is the fastest way to damage a sending domain. Mailbox providers read a high bounce rate as a sign you are sending to a purchased or stale list, and the reputation damage suppresses the mail that would have landed. Verifying first is cheaper than recovering a domain.
Can I import a Hunter list?
Yes — CSV or API. Contacts land as lead records, verification runs before the first send, and every subsequent touch on any channel is written to the same timeline.
