Prospecting

Find leads — real decision-makers, free.

Find Leads is Autocloz’s free prospecting surface: describe your ideal customer in plain language, or filter by industry, country, city and role, and get a grid of real matching decision-makers to contact. Every result is free — drawn from openly-sourced owned data, with no credits and no data provider to connect — carries an honest email-quality label, and can be added to a multichannel sequence in one click. It is included on every plan, including free.

Describe your customer, get matching people

No boolean queries and no list to import first — type who you want, tighten with a few filters, and work the rows you can actually act on.

The Find Leads flow in Autocloz: a plain-language search for founders at SaaS companies in India with industry, country and role filters, returning a grid of real decision-maker cards. Each card shows a name, role and company, a green Free badge, and an honest email-quality pill — Deliverable, Catch-all or Unverified — with a one-click Add to prospects action.

01 · Describe who you want

Type the customer you are after in plain language, or narrow with filters — industry, country, city and role. The same box that reads "founders at SaaS companies in India" maps to those filters, so you start broad and tighten without learning a query language.

02 · See real people, not placeholders

Results come back as a card grid of actual decision-makers drawn from the owned corpus — name, role, company and domain — each with the one thing that decides whether you can act on it: an honest email-quality pill.

03 · Add the good ones to a sequence

Select the rows worth contacting and add them to your prospect inbox in one action. From there they drop straight into a multichannel sequence — email, calling, LinkedIn, SMS and WhatsApp — on the same lead timeline as everything that follows.

Why it’s different from a paid contact database

The usual lead finder rents you access, meters every contact, and calls a catch-all “verified.” Find Leads does the opposite on all three.

Free, and no credits to meter

Find Leads runs over owned, crawled data, so there is no per-contact credit to buy, top up or watch expire, and no third-party data provider to connect before you can search. Searching is included on every plan, including the free one.

Owned data you can keep

The business layer underneath is openly licensed under CDLA-Permissive-2.0, which permits redistribution — so a CSV you export stays yours, including after you cancel. Most tools license you the right to look, not the right to leave.

Honest about every email

Each address is checked against DNS, MX and SMTP and returned as one of four states — deliverable, undeliverable, risky or unknown. A catch-all domain accepts mail for every address, so its mailbox can never be confirmed; we label it rather than calling it verified.

Answerable for every record

Person records store the exact page they were read from, and getting out takes one step with no account and no reason required. Our crawler AutoclozBot identifies itself and obeys robots.txt. See the prospecting section of the privacy policy.

What we refuse to use, and why

Most of what makes a contact database large is also what makes it a liability. These are the sources we leave out on purpose — so the leads you find can’t come back to bite you.

ExcludedReason
LinkedIn scrapinghiQ v. LinkedIn ended in a 2022 judgment that permanently enjoined scraping on a contract basis; Meta v. Bright Data reinforced that terms-as-contract survive independently. We don't scrape LinkedIn or any site whose terms forbid it.
Breach dataResold breach dumps are the substrate behind most "unlimited contacts" offers. They are unlawful to process and they poison the domain you send from.
Personal mobile numbersNo free lawful bulk source exists, and under India's DPDP Act a personal phone number is consented personal data. Business landlines are a different thing, and those we do hold.
Google Maps copyingMaps Platform terms prohibit copying and storing business names, addresses and reviews, so there is no compliant path to an exportable database from it — even with a paid key.

From a found lead to a booked meeting

Finding the person is step one. Because Find Leads lives inside the CRM, the rest is already wired up.

One click into a sequence

Add selected leads to your prospect inbox, then enrol them in a multichannel sequence that branches on intent across email, calling, LinkedIn, SMS and WhatsApp — all on your own accounts.

Every reply in one place

Replies land in the unified inbox on the same lead timeline as the touches that earned them, with a compliance gate running DNC and quiet-hours checks before every send.

Free forever underneath

The free-forever CRM carries the pipeline, deals and booking pages, so a lead you find today has somewhere to live and a next step to take — see every plan on pricing.

Questions

Is Find Leads really free?

Yes. The results come from owned, crawled data rather than a metered third-party provider, so searching and adding leads is included on every plan including free — there are no per-contact credits. Volume-based daily limits apply to email verification, metered per plan.

Do I have to connect a data provider or buy credits?

No. Find Leads searches the owned People corpus directly, so there is nothing to connect and no credits to buy. You can start searching the moment you sign up.

How accurate are the email addresses?

Every address is validated and labelled with one of four states — deliverable, undeliverable, risky or unknown. We never mark a catch-all domain "verified", because such a domain accepts every address and the mailbox genuinely cannot be confirmed. Calling it verified would be selling you a bounce.

Where does the data come from?

Business records come from the Overture Maps Foundation open dataset (CDLA-Permissive-2.0). Person records come from pages companies publish on their own sites, read by our crawler AutoclozBot, which obeys robots.txt. Some officer records come from public company registries. We do not scrape LinkedIn, buy breach data, or copy Google Maps.

Can I keep the leads if I cancel?

Yes, for the business layer. It is licensed under CDLA-Permissive-2.0, which permits redistribution, so an export you have already taken remains yours. Exports carry the required attribution line.

Someone's details are in the results and they want out. What happens?

Use the form at /privacy/remove or email privacy@autocloz.com with the name, company or domain — no account and no reason needed. The record is deleted and added to a do-not-contact list so nobody on the platform can send to it.
