Cold email template generator
Pick a goal and tone, drop in your merge fields and value prop, and get a ready-to-send cold email — subject and body. Free, private, no signup.
100% client-side — nothing leaves your browser. Leave name/company blank to keep merge tags for your sequence tool.
{{first_name}},
We help outbound teams book more meetings with less manual work. I figured {{company}} might be in the same boat.

Worth a quick look? One email is a start — replies come from a personalised multi-step sequence. Autocloz sends sequences like this across email, LinkedIn, SMS and calls.

Three choices shape the output: a goal, a tone, and the fields you fill in. The goal decides which set of hand-written templates the subject line and body come from — booking a meeting, a cold introduction, a follow-up, or a break-up note for a thread that has gone quiet.
Tone does not paraphrase the whole email. It swaps two specific lines: the greeting and the closing ask. Direct opens on the bare first name and asks whether this is worth a look; friendly greets the recipient and proposes a chat next week; formal opens with a fuller hello and asks about availability for a call. Everything between those two lines belongs to the goal.
Each goal carries several variants, and the shuffle button steps through them in order before wrapping back to the first. Changing the goal resets you to that goal's opening variant. All of it is assembled inside the page, so nothing you type about a real prospect is ever sent anywhere.
Merge tags and the blank-field trick
Leave the name and company boxes empty and the draft keeps {{first_name}} and {{company}} in place, ready to paste into a sequence tool that fills them per recipient. Type into them and every occurrence is substituted immediately, which is the mode you want when writing a single message by hand.
What you must not do is mix the two. A draft carrying a real name in the greeting and a stray placeholder three lines down is the most recognisable failure in all of cold email, and it happens precisely when someone fills one box and forgets the other.
Writing a value prop that survives every variant
Your value prop is injected into the body of whichever template is showing, so it has to stand alone as a complete sentence about the outcome you produce — not a description of your product. Leaving it blank drops in a generic placeholder line that is fine for checking the layout and should never be sent to anyone.
Its position moves with the variant. Sometimes it opens the email, sometimes it lands mid-paragraph after a setup line, and one of the break-up variants lower-cases its first letter so it fits inside a longer sentence. Write one self-contained clause with no leading conjunction and it will read correctly in all of those slots.
What a generated draft cannot do for you
You get a structurally sound email; the tool knows nothing about the person receiving it. The line that earns a reply is the specific one — a hire, a launch, a post, something you actually noticed — and it has to come from you, near the top, ahead of the value prop.
Deliverability is a separate question this page does not touch. Copy built here has not been scored against spam signals, and no template survives an unauthenticated domain or a mailbox that was never warmed. Run the draft through the spam checker before it becomes a sequence, and remember that a single send is one touch: most replies arrive on the second or third.
Cold email template generator FAQ
Is the cold email template generator free?
+
Yes — free, no signup, 100% client-side (nothing you type leaves your browser).
Can I keep merge tags like {{first_name}}?
+
Yes — leave the name and company fields blank and the output keeps {{first_name}} and {{company}} so you can paste it straight into your sequence tool.
Why does the same goal give different emails?
+
Each goal has several hand-written variants. Use Shuffle variant to rotate them so your outreach never reads like a copy-paste template.
